The two-year-old program is broken into three different classes:
- the younger twos (Y2) for children that have birthdays that fall between May 1 and September 1,
- the middle twos (2A) for children that will be turning 3 after December 31, but before May 1, and
- the older twos (2B) for children that will be turning 3 after September 1, but before December 31.
The two-year-old program builds on using play as a learning tool. The children will also have circle time and table time along with teacher-directed play. Emphasis is on sharing, taking turns, verbalization, gross and fine motor skills. Basic colors, shapes and counting are also introduced.
